  • Walter was one of the pioneers in Brazil on the study of Mediation and other alternative dispute resolution methods (and Conflict Management), since his post-graduate course in California (EUA, 2000), when he was qualified as a Mediator, Arbitrator and Negotiator, as well as his Masters degree in Oxford (England, 2003/4), when his dissertation was a precursor of the need of a holistic and multidisciplinar approach of the alternative conflict resolution methods to effectively resolve national and international disputes

  • He has led important corporate governance and integrity works and turnarounds in many organizations, implementing regional Ethics and Compliance programs, supervising and performing international investigations, becoming a reference about these topics in Latin America, particularly in Fighting Corporate Corruption in Brazil

  • Walter was recognized as the General Counsel of the Year in Latin America and one of the top 5 General Counsel of the world, by Latin America Counsel Awards and Global Counsel Awards from the Association of Corporate Counsel and International Law Office
